Battery powered inland shipping
This zero emission shipping scaleup supplies interchangeable modular energy containers for new and existing inland vessels. The containers are charged using renewable power and can easily be exchanged at exchange and loading stations. These stations are standardized and equipped with an ‘open-access’ network. In the future, the modular energy containers will also be able to work with hydrogen and fuel cells to propel the electric drivetrain.
Our role
Darel supported the company by taking interim roles as the company director, business opportunity manager and JV representative on behalf of the Port of Rotterdam. Darel facilitated the development of the business plan and built the corresponding financial model. Additionally Darel has supported the project through project management and operational support.
